The Everywhere Atelier is the first-ever International Study Group dedicated to an immersive atelier experience in Reggio Emilia (Italy) and nearby areas.

We will experience firsthand the creative process through a rich variety of materials, workshops and dialogues with atelieristas, artists and other professionals connected to the artistic and educational fields. Each day will be dedicated to a different place, encountering different materials and professionals.

Registration is open to educators, teachers, artists, art therapists, atelieristas, pedagogical leaders and anyone interested in the creative process with materials, from all over the world. The cultural diversity of the international group will be an important element of growth, sharing and learning together. Meanwhile, each participant will be supported in their personal, individual process, to discover their uniqueness and talents.

The atelierista/art therapist Roberta Pucci and the pedagogista Laura Malavasi will accompany and support you throughout the entire journey, interweaving your professional development with personal growth.

THE COST INCLUDES:

• Five full days planned experiences, including workshops, meetings, visits to atelier and dialoguing sessions with professionals, atelieristas, pedagogistas, artists
• Two lunches and one dinner with local and traditional food
• Transfert to the different locations in Reggio Emilia and other nearby towns
• Art materials
• Tour journal
• Constant support and guide by Roberta Pucci (atelierista, art therapist) and Laura Malavasi (pedagogista), always present during the Study Tour
• The pre-recorded Grammar of Matter Course by Robertapuccilab

 

THE COST DOES NOT INCLUDE:

Hotel, flight, transfer from the airport to Reggio Emilia, health insurance, Visa fees and all that is not mentioned in the list above.

 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Once the legal refund period for online purchases has expired, the purchase can no longer be refunded.

If a client will be unable to attend the study group due to unforeseen circumstances, they may transfer their spot to another individual through a private arrangement. Robertapuccilab will not be involved in this process but should just be informed of the change.

Robertapuccilab reserves the right to cancel the study group if the required minimum number of participants is not reached by March 15. In this case, the purchase will be fully refunded. Participants who have registered for the study group will be promptly informed once the minimum number of participants has been reached.

 

 

 

Q & A

Is any previous art experience required?

All you need is to be interested and passionate about materials and the creative process.

Is this a Reggio Approach study group?

We will meet different perspectives on creativity, ateliers and materials for opening a rich panorama of possibilities, which will include the Reggio approach, as it is the natural background where most of the experiences we will live are rooted. However, Reggio Children is the official educational institution in charge of the Reggio Approach training, so if you are interested in a specific Reggio Approach study group, you will find many interesting proposals in the Reggio Children website.

Will we also visit some educational context, like a preschool?

Yes, we will spend a day in a preschool near Reggio Emilia, visiting its spaces and ateliers, meeting the children and the teachers, engaging with the pedagogista and having a hands-on experience with the atelierista. 

Does anyone else offer a similar study group?

Absolutely not. This is the only Everywhere Atelier Study-Group Tour in Italy. Also, many of the professionals we will visit are friends and collegues of Roberta and Laura: so each experience will be a very special opportunity for an authentic encounter, within an organic project of the whole journey.

There will be any support for finding accomodation?

Of course. We also have some agreements for special offers reserved to the study group participants.

The first thing I absolutely loved was that it was a small intimate group of people from different walks of life coming together for the common goal of understanding materials and how we can create intentional experiences for children.

Roberta and Laura created meaningful days filled with intentional experiences that allowed us to surround ourselves with different materials. We were prepared for the day with a QR code that gave us an abundance of information about the journey we were going to take the next day. We were able to sit with the information, look over the reflective questions, and prepare ourselves for the day.
Both women lent us questions and ideas to think about further, never judging, never making you feel like you didn’t know enough. They were very much encouraging the wonder and curiosity in these experiences.

It was nice not being talked at, but rather engaging in conversation, and hands-on experiences which was refreshing from my other Study Tour Experience. But my favourite thing, is I now have contacts from different parts of the world I can connect with, to think through something. I also have Laura and Roberta who can guide me. They have inspired my practice in so many different ways and I am forever grateful.

Those people we met, your guidance and presence made me feel capable, made me feel curious and feeling well in our group. To guide so many different people in a Study Group, are maybe challenging for you but for me it was a great opportunity to learn, to grow, to be in a presence.
